Our Story

We are a satellite dojo for Mid Coast Martial Arts Academy, with our principal dojo (Hombu) located in Port Macquarie in NSW. Our Ryuha (school of thought) has been in operation since 1995, and have not looked back.

The current Instructor of New England Martial Arts Academy, Sensei Anthony Rummery, and his team, have worked diligently to build their expertise in training not only in Kensei Shoto Ryu Karate and Toushi Ryukyu Kobudo - our core styles - but also incorporate elements of Koryu Uchinadi Kempo Jutsu as taught by Hanshi Patrick McCarthy and other systems to create a thorough self - protection and self-development system for students of all ages and abilities to become the warriors they seek to be.
